Fan Club Doubles In Size

I am pleased to announce that the Spicy Girls Fan Club has doubled in size ... to four members. That's right. This might be the fastest growing fan club of an Asian tribute band for the Spice Girls. Actually, I'm pretty sure it's the only one.

A graph to illustrate the fastest growing Spicy Girl fan club.

Who are these fans? Well, most of them are co-workers of the infamous Scary "Schezuan" Spice. Although, one of the members of the fan club is actually a member of the band. I'm not sure what the rules are on this one, but I allowed it. Mostly because she REALLY wanted into the fan club ... to be a fan ... of herself.

Inaugural Post

What's better than an all-girl British pop group that peaked in the 90s? Well, that would be a "tribute" band to an all-girl British pop group that peaked in the 90s. Especially if all of the members are Chinese girls. And look nothing like the Spice Girls.

So, who are these "Spicy Girls" that you've heard so much about on Fairchild TV? Well, they're just a couple of normal girls who decided that they wanted to chase their dreams. When their parents were yelling at them to practice the piano, or do Kumon math, or play the clarinet ... they dreamed. They dreamed big. They dreamed of one day making it to the big stage of Aberdeen Mall and knocking shoppers' socks off with some girl powered singing. They believed in taking the orginal Spice Girls' message of girl power back to their homeland and demanding equality! The right to wear sexy lacy lingerie and claim it was appropriate. The right to propose to an almost-gay soccer player instead of waiting of him to ask you to marry him. The right to wear 6-inch platform sneakers.

So join us, as we (their fans) celebrate the "Spicy Girls" knocking down barriers of inequality and fighting for (Asian) girl power.
